  1. Yup it’s a trend… haha.
    I do know & have painted with Beastman 6 years ago & as we do create works with a pattern as the basis but are far from being the same, if you take a close look at our work & compare. I prefer to put as much detail in my work as possible so the viewer has more & more to look at each time & work primarily symmetrically.
    I found my own path into this style from researching macro photography of nature & studying the formations of design in entomology & phytology. We as humans are all made up from complex patterns & symmetry which I represent in my works as a homage to nature & it’s complex design. I paint walls with no preconceived ideas or copying from other artists, just freestyle everything as I go which makes the process far more organic & fluid (& fun). I may sound defensive here but feel like I should let my process, style & history be known.
    & no it isn’t really a trend… 😉
