      1. Dogs on leads is confined to a very small number of places. The wider world is very different to the way “western ” societies perceive it. You are so lucky to see that in reality as well as in street art

      2. The dogs here are very amiable. Nobody has growled at me. There are some guard dogs that have but I have never seen them out and about. This is drug territory and I have seen a number of Pit Bulls and Rottweilers being walked by young men. I have no idea why but Pit Bulls are the favored dog among drug dealers (narcos) in the US and here. Gives Pits a bad reputation.

      3. Pit Bulls are illegal here in the U.K. because they don’t let go if biting. They destroy any that are found here. Staffordshire Bull Terriers are now the dog of choice – sadly for them. Most dogs are anxious to please and just turn out the way humans make them.
