I used to live and work in Nicosia 89-90. I can’t believe how built up it has become – no green fields or olive trees? – all concrete. Really needs wonderful colour visuals like this doesn’t it?

Nicosia looks to be clean–no pollution and all the buildings looked well cared for. Yeah color is definitely needed.

I know. There used to a group of black birds that would get drunk on berries every year. I actually had one perched on my heading pecking at my hair. Can you imagine a bird that size doing that?

Horrible thought! I’m having broody hen problems at the moment and the pecking is horrendous – I don’t want to think about an even bigger bird doing it….

I like the nature themes though, especially in really urban areas. It goes against what I expect to find. This is another good one!
